Interim CEO vs fractional CEO. What is the difference?
An interim CEO is full-time for the duration of a mandate, with sole CEO authority. A fractional CEO works part-time across one or more companies. Same role, different intensity. Interim suits crisis and post-acquisition. Fractional suits steady-state scale-up.
